Lockdown, Day 31

These flowers have a story. My maternal grand-father used to grow them in his vegetable garden (they are early spring flowers, so they attract the pollinators). My mother took some seeds years ago and we have had wallflowers every spring ever since.

Thank you, grandpa… I miss you, always.

wallflowers / gyroflées

Ces fleurs ont une histoire. Mon grand-père maternel les faisait pousser dans son potager (étant des fleurs de début de printemps, elles attirent les insectes pollinisateurs). Ma mère a ramené des graines d’une de ses visites, et depuis, nous avons des giroflées dans notre jardin.

Merci, Papi… tu me manques.
